First thing you must know before planning a wedding

Mar 10

You’re going to wed and getting loads of advices which tell you step one to do this and step two to do that. Actually there are the many things you should know before starting to plan for anything.

Have a check- list of wedding preparation
Buy a small notebook and write down things to prepare such as ceremony location, photographer, florist… Give it a tick when it’s done. You should also write down your ideas, things you need to do, want to fix or anything about the wedding planning so you don’t have to worry keep all of them in your head.

Expect wedding pressures and don’t expect perfection
Planning such big event of course will lead to many stresses. Expect it and it won’t surprise you. It can help you to anticipate and plan for problems.
High expectations lead to greater stress, both in the preparation process and the wedding day itself. Know that whatever happens, you will be married at the end of the ceremony.

Don’t be Bridezilla
Don’t be too obsessed with wedding planning and make your fiancé tired by talking about wedding stuff all the time. You should enjoy some time with your fiancé talking about non-related wedding topics, watching movies, drinking beer, dancing together, laying out in the sun, taking a nap, going out for a walk, meeting friends,… etc

Try to get the groom involved
Most men have no interest in decoration and designing, so don’t be disappointed when you ask him for ideas and get “I don’t know. It’s up to you, honey”. You should encourage him to participate in other parts which he’s interested in and share with you the planning right from the start.

Stay healthy
The advice is to sleep well, pay attention to nutrition and exercise. It not only helps to prevent stresses but also to make sure that you’ll have a perfect look in your wedding day.

Remember what it’s all about
Keep in your mind the reason for this wedding during the stressful planning process. Even if it doesn’t turn out to be the wedding of your dreams, when you wake up tomorrow, you’ll be just as married to the love of your life. And when all is said and done, isn’t that what it’s all about?
